Tyrant Moon Re-release!

Tyrant Moon (Moon, Sun, Star – Book 1) is now back in ebook format for your reading pleasure! I hope to have Book 2, Heretic Sun, back out in a couple of months. Thank you for your patience!

Tyrant MoonOnce the most powerful of the Athraskani wizards, Thraxis can no longer use his magic thanks to a death curse cast on him by the rogue mage Balthazar. In a society where a wizard’s power determines his status, Thraxis has gone from being one of the elite to a barely-tolerated burden.

From the day of her birth, The Arrow That Flies the Farthest was destined to be the Champion of the Red Feather Clan. Her strength and prowess against the other Champions of the Skald clans has allowed the Red Feathers to dominate the steppes. But when the coming of Balthazar plunges the Skald into all-out war, Arrow must turn to the wizards for help. Their only aid comes in the form of Thraxis—a dying man whose use of magic will only kill him faster.

Together, Arrow and Thraxis must stop Balthazar before he can crush the last of those who yet oppose him. But can a man sworn to do no harm and a woman born to kill find the common ground to defeat their enemy, before time runs out for them both?

Update and FAQs

Hello everyone! I know I’ve been away from this blog for quite a while. I have a number of reasons for that, but I won’t bore you all with the details.

With the exception of the Bad-Ass Faeries series of anthologies, I am withdrawing all of my titles from Mundania Press, LLC. This includes the Moon, Sun, Star series, Lord of Wind and Fire, and all Shadow Fae books. My intention is to begin to re-release them all with updated covers beginning in January. I’ll post dates when I have them.

I know you may have some questions, so here are some answers:

Q: What does this mean for the final Shadow Fae book?

A: Obviously there will be a delay, but the first draft of The Iron-Bound Queen is written, and I intend to release it once I have the other books in the series reissued.

Q: What books are available now?

The Sorceress’s Orc, Angel of Brass, Exile’s Burn, Nocturne, and Rain on the Mountain are not affected by this, and will remain in print.

Q: What happened to Fire in the Void? And are you ever going to write the third Exile’s Burn book?

A: The unfortunate truth is that the series was never very popular, and eventually I had to make a decision of where to best spend my time and money. Because Fire in the Void has less closure at the end than Exile‘s Burn, I chose not to reissue it and leave the first book to stand on its own.

Q: What else have you been up to?

A: In addition to my webcomic, Riven Sol, I’ve been writing m/m paranormal romance as Jordan L. Hawk. It’s a lot of fun.
